A Great Neighborhood Deserves a Great Theater. That’s the cornerstone of Kelly Strayhorn Theater. Named for two of Pittsburgh’s most celebrated talents in the last century—dancer Gene Kelly and composer Billy Strayhorn—KST contributes to the renaissance of East Liberty and redefines theater with provocative, original programming and a social experience unlike any other venue in the region.

KST's career page services the Arts Finance Cohort (AFC), a shared services strategy by five Member arts organizations:
  • Contemporary Craft
  • New Hazlett Theater
  • Union Project
  • Kelly Strayhorn Theater
  • Pittsburgh Glass Center
The purpose of the Arts Finance Cohort is to allow Members to have access to critical shared positions across organizations to provide a high level of strategic, operational and  financial expertise that they would not be able to afford individually. This project was initially supported over its first four years (2014-2017) by a local foundation as well as contributions from each of the participating organizations. The goal was to develop a sustainable model of collaboration that brings increased financial sophistication to mid-sized arts organizations in the Pittsburgh region.

Please note that the positions posted on this page may be shared between two or more organizations or may report to a single organization. Carefully review each job description for details.
